Meet Leathan!
Leathan is a 7-year-old diagnosed with Level 2 Autism and frontal lobe damage. His Pica—a condition where he ingests non-food items—along with a tendency to wander, means he requires constant supervision. Leathan loves the color orange and thrives on attention. He has a passion for reading and a budding interest in Nintendo games.

Meet Emerson!
Emerson is an 8-year-old with level 3 Autism and is non-verbal. She also faces challenges with Pica, a condition that compels her to swallow non-food items, requiring near-constant supervision. Due to a recent hospitalization for Necrotizing Fasciitis, she uses a wheelchair to travel long distances. Emerson finds joy in outdoor activities like swinging, climbing, and sliding, and is comforted by dark spaces and colors.

Meet Liam!
Liam is a 4-year-old born at 29 weeks. At 2 he was diagnosed with Mirage Syndrome and Autism. He is tube fed and received OT, ST, school and nursing service in the home. Although small for his age, he is able to run, walk, talk, and enjoy this glider bike. They live on a very busy street and his mother’s primary concern is his safety from traffic.

Meet Jones!
Jones sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) at the age of 3 due to an ATV accident. As a result, he is non-verbal and requires full assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs). He is unable sit or stand without complete support and is G-tube fed. The family faced further hardship when they lost their home in a fire in 2017. While the home was rebuilt, several areas remain unfinished.

Meet Willow!
Willow is a 4-year-old with Down Syndrome. She is limited in her speech and deaf in her right ear. She knows ASL and uses it to communicate with her family.

Meet Riley!
Riley is a 15-year-old boy with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, DMDD (Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder), and Seizure Disorder. Riley has also experienced childhood trauma contributing to his behavior issues and outbursts. He is sent to his rooms during these instances. He loves calming himself with his Lego sets and building.

Meet Emmanuel!
Emmanuel is a 22-year old with a diagnosis of Autism. “Manni”, as his friends call him, participates in swimming and tennis in the Special Olympics and enjoys playing music on his keyboard and horseback riding. He works for ‘Kids Making It’ two days a week and is participating in a program called Essentials at CFCC to earn his GED!!

Meet Bridget!
Bridget requires 24-hour care and experiences significant difficulty with sleeping. Reorganizing the spaces within her home to accommodate a nighttime caregiver could greatly benefit her overall well-being and improve her quality of sleep.

Asa’s Project is Complete!
Asa is a vibrant teen who loves classic rock and movies. As a recent high school graduate, he strives to be increasingly independent and plans for his makeover have been developed to support this goal.
