Rest in peace, sweet Julia. 5.21.13 – 5.19.19

Julia was a fun and loving 5 year old with SCn8A genetic mutation. Like many of the other kiddos we have served, Julia had a great need for storage space with the multitude of medical equipment and supplies she receives monthly. Most importantly, Julia’s bedroom was the living room because she had to be seen at all times. So Welcome Home Angel came in created a bedroom for her right off the living room!

We also created a backdoor so Julia and the rest of the family can have easy access to the playground! With a covered ramp coming from the new backdoor, Julia’s family was able to roll her right outside.

We are so grateful to Monteith Construction, Liz Carroll Interiors, and the many volunteers that put in so much hard work to give this sweet family a more functional and happy living space.

Team Julia really put in so much hard work and in record time – 3 weeks total! We are forever grateful for the many loving hands and loving hearts that made this makeover possible. Check out Julia’s new room:

This team was so amazing, they not only gave Julia a great new space, but also gave the twins, and big bro a bedroom makeover, and a gorgeous makeover to the living space!

Monteith also gave this family access to the play-set in their backyard through the addition of a door and a covered ramp:

We are so grateful to the team from Monteith Construction and Liz Carroll Interiors! This would not have been possible if they were not so willing to put in all the hard work and time to make Julia and her family feel so special! You guys are rockstars!
