Angel Ambassadors: Monthly Giving That Changes Lives

Becoming an Angel Ambassador means joining a community of monthly donors who believe every child deserves a home that supports their health, safety, and dignity. Monthly gifts ensure that children with complex medical and developmental needs can receive home transformations without delay and that no eligible family is turned away due to funding gaps.

Home transformations are far more than home improvements. For many of our families, they mean:

• safer transfers and mobility throughout the home
• better sleep and sensory regulation
• accessible bathing and toileting
• reduced caregiver strain and injury risk
• increased independence and confidence for the child

These are the kinds of changes that allow families to be families again rather than full-time care teams navigating unsafe spaces.

Why Monthly Giving Matters

Monthly gifts are essential because they provide reliable, predictable funding that allows Welcome Home Angel to:

• accept referrals as they come in
• plan projects in advance
• secure contractors and materials on schedule
• reduce wait times for families in crisis
• serve more children each year

We currently have multiple children approved for home transformations, with new referrals coming in every month. Our goal for 2026 is to serve 12–15 children across New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick Counties and monthly support is the key to making that possible.

How to Join

Membership begins at just $10/month, allowing more people in our community to take part in this meaningful work. Additional monthly giving levels are available for those who wish to deepen their impact.
