Above are just a few pictures from this amazing reveal party (which also happened to be Cori’s birthday party)! Visit our Facebook Page for even more pictures!
Below is a sweet note we received from Cori’s mom.
This is why we do what we do.
“Words can’t describe how thankful we are for what Welcome Home Angel has done for Cori. This could not of come at a better time, after returning home from a 3 month hospital stay and Cori unable to walk the walk in shower has been amazing it had made life so much easier. Cori has lots of seizures during bath time and it was extremely hard getting hard out of the tub we had. Cori has had several seizures since the walk in shower and it was so much easier getting her out. She loves the bathroom so much that she just likes going and sitting on the toilet for hours!!! (she’s not potty trained). Her bedroom is amazing!!!! She LOVES the swing. The bed is perfect for her – she’s able to crawl up on it and down on her own. Not only did Cori come home to a new bedroom and bathroom, both her sisters’ room was also amazing! I’m so thankful for making her feel special; I’m always in hospitals with Cori, and I always feel bad that I miss so much with her. I will never forget the look on her face when she walked into her room – the dream catcher was the first thing that caught her eye. She said “wow mom look at that dream catcher, my room is beautiful.” Now it’s hard getting her out of her beautiful room. My mom’s bed also came at a perfect time; she is recovering now from surgery due to cancer. Her bed had springs in it, so now she’s recovering on a comfortable bed! After her first night sleeping on the bed the next morning she woke up and said, “that bed felt so good last night.” You’ll are truly ANGELS and I am forever grateful for all that you have done for my family! Emily and Liz are truly amazing and everyone that was involved in this project!”
