POSITION: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PART TIME
Welcome Home Angel Inc. is entering a major expansion phase and seeks a creative and highly skilled Executive Director with a breadth of experience and knowledge to take the organization to the next level. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board and will spearhead all efforts related to fundraising, project management, marketing and organization.
The right candidate will need to be well organized, self-directed and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. The person will be responsible for taking the lead on cultivating donors, organizing volunteers, overseeing special events and maintaining a close relationship with those organizations which refer children to Welcome Home Angel. The Executive Director will be charged with integrating the development and marketing/communications functions to maximize success and in meeting all of the established goals.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of direct fundraising experience with an emphasis on major gifts and individual giving. Must have experience with integrating communications and fundraising strategies including social media. Experience in healthcare or disabled and early childhood fields is a plus but not a requirement. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude and is driven by results. The candidate must be a problem solver, with excellent research and analytical skills.
