Change a Home. Change a Life. Donate Today.
Every day, families across Southeastern North Carolina are navigating a home that wasn’t built for their reality. A child with a disability whose bedroom isn’t safe. An older adult whose bathroom has become a fall risk. A caregiver stretched thin by a space that works against the person they love.
Your donation to Welcome Home Angel transforms that.
We adapt, modify, and redesign home environments so individuals and families can live with safety, comfort, and dignity — at every stage of life. Since 2007, we’ve been doing this work one family at a time in New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick Counties. Your gift keeps that work moving.
What Your Gift Makes Possible
Welcome Home Angel is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. When you donate, you’re directly funding personalized home modifications for families who have nowhere else to turn — because insurance often doesn’t cover this, and waiver funding runs out.
Here’s what your support creates:
- Sensory-friendly spaces and adaptive environments for children with disabilities, chronic conditions, or life-altering injuries
- Accessibility modifications and mobility solutions for adults navigating disability, injury recovery, or chronic illness
- Fall prevention and aging-in-place modifications for older adults who want to stay safely in the homes they love — modeled on the evidence-based Johns Hopkins CAPABLE program
- Relief for caregivers, who carry enormous physical and emotional weight when a home doesn’t support the person they’re caring for
Every project we complete transforms not just a space — but a family’s daily life.
Give Monthly — Join Our Angel Ambassadors
The most powerful thing you can do is give consistently. Our Angel Ambassador program turns your monthly gift into a steady engine that keeps projects moving year-round.
Starting at just $10/month, Angel Ambassadors help us:
- Respond faster to families on our waitlist
- Reduce wait times across all three program tracks
- Plan and schedule projects throughout the year
- Expand our reach to more families across Southeastern NC
Monthly giving means that when a family calls us, we can say yes — sooner.
Ambassador members receive event invitations, impact updates, an Ambassador lapel pin, and a supporter decal.
